The atmosphere at The Hoffberger Breast Center is relaxed and designed to put you at ease. Our office is much more comfortable than a typical doctor's office, and our staff and physicians are friendly and understanding. The Center is conveniently located close to The Women's Imaging Center, which features mammography and many other diagnostic procedures, and we are only a short distance from other ancillary hospital services.
Whether you are coming to see us for the first time with a breast problem or visiting for a routine checkup, the staff at The Hoffberger Breast Center is ready to answer your questions and address your issues.
First, you will be asked for information concerning your medical history. Breast disease may be inherited, so the more you know about your family's medical past, the easier it will be for your physician or nurse practitioner to make a diagnosis and recommend a course of treatment.
Next, you may meet with a member of our nursing staff, who will answer your questions and provide more specific information about your concerns.
Afterwards, you will meet with one of our physicians or nurse practitioners for a clinical breast exam and consultation.
We encourage all of our patients to ask questions and request information at any time. Additionally, The Hoffberger Breast Center offers a wide variety of brochures, pamphlets, booklets, texts, and fliers about breast care, breast disease and breast cancer, support groups, and related topics.
